Striving to capture simple moments of beauty and fragility, I work to juxtapose the tenuous and difficult predicaments in life with an engagement of the lovely wonders that are present in the every day.
A Canadian artist, I have had the joy of experiencing the landscapes and connecting with people and places from East to West.
I was born and raised in Ontario, and from treks westward as a youngster, I fell in love with British Columbia. I made Vancouver Island my home in 2003 and stayed for a long while. In 2025 I returned to Ontario, to the North. From the dramatic beauty of the West Coast, to the big skies and lakes of Ontario, I have found nourishment and grounding in my connection with nature. I enjoy exploring and portraying the relationship between humans and the natural world in my artwork.
Working primarily in watercolour, acrylic painting, and photography, I'm often exploring different approaches to express the thoughts, feelings, and images in my mind and experience.
